Hillsboro Oregon Saturday Farmer's Market May 27, 2007
We all decided to go to the farmers market in May this year to perhaps pick up some early strawberries. We missed out on the strawberries, but managed to pick up some wonderful bread and sausage. We looked at quite a few of the artisan booths. Here are some of the things we saw.

Pumpkin Ridge Bakery Bridget Sorensen is the owner. She makes delicious hand-formed breads in a wood-fired brick oven. Her breads are made from healthy quality ingredients. Her bakery is on Pumpkin Ridge Road in North Plains, Oregon. |
Eggers Acres sells cherries in late June, peaches in August , and walnuts, filberts/hazelnuts from November on. They are located just S of Dundee, Oregon on 99 West. |
Boyco Foods is owned by a husband and wife team. He manages the hives and she does much of the selling of their honey based products. They have a line of honey bases sauces marinades and mustards as well as a variety of flavored honey. |
